Clogs: The trend in shoes
The clogs first appeared in 13th century Holland, it was a shoe designed to offer protection from the harsh conditions of daily long hours of work.
The ultimate dutch shoe made a dynamic comeback in the 70 ′, as the trademark of boho lovers expressing their most carefree philosophy.
Today the shoe that is directly connected to the Dutch tradition is re-introduced to us by various brands, such as Tory Burch, Bottega Veneta, Simon Miller and Proenza Schouler. Hermes in its spring 2021 collection completed its looks with a pair of studded clogs.
The couture version of the clogs may have divided the fashion world, however, it is an option that can give a more airy folklore to our ensembles without having to part with comfort and practicality. Many fashion lovers such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Xenia Adonts and Lucy Williams have dynamically integrated them into their daily wardrobe.
The protagonists of our summer looks will continue to take off our sets during the autumn season, combined with a pair of fuzzy socks and our favorite trench coat, but also with our classic autumn dresses.
